ParkingAnyTime gives you the freedom to go where you please when you please armed with the knowledge of where to park and how much it might cost. In much of the world, automobiles are the largest enabler of mobility. However, many of the world’s largest cities were planned and developed long before the automobile. Consequently, street parking is strained, garages are expensive and mobility is limited. Many people hesitate to visit restaurants, businesses, sporting venues, friends or cultural centers in areas they are unfamiliar with because finding parking is too difficult. You already know that asking somebody from the neighborhood is the easiest way to find local parking. ParkingAnyTime collects and organizes tips from you for parking anywhere in the world. You can now find this information in one convenient location making visiting unfamiliar places fun again.

ParkingAnyTime will launch with over 10 sq miles of “official” street and garage coverage in Chicago’s most familiar neighborhoods including Chicago’s Loop, Near North Side, Near South Side, Lincoln Park and Lakeview.

We’re starting with the Chicago neighborhoods we know best, but we intend to cover the world. To grow quickly, we need your help. We need to gather a lot of data, and we will. We will drive every street and visit every garage until we have gathered simple parking options for you. This will take us a bit of time, and any tips you can offer will help our users benefit sooner. If you have information on a particular garage or know restrictions for street parking in your neighborhood or where you work, please share these tips and we will add them to our map. Saqib Akhter
Co-founder, Chief Executive Officer

Saqib co-founded Livado Group, LLC., the parent of ParkingAnyTime, with friend Robb Hughes, while living in Chicago during March of 2007.

Saqib envisioned making parking more simple than driving circles around blocks that required permits he didn’t have or taking random guesses at which garage offered lowest rate. This resulted in the onset of ParkingAnyTime.

Prior to ParkingAnyTime, Saqib worked at BP in various roles ranging from engineering to business development. While at BP, Saqib completed his masters at the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.

Saqib holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Robb Hughes
Co-founder, Chief Visionary Officer & Director Business Development

Robb co-founded Livado Group, LLC with friend Saqib, after a discussion at a local coffee shop. Very familiar with Saqib’s frustration finding parking, he was excited to tackle the parking problem.

Prior to ParkingAnyTime, Robb worked for CDW Corporation as a Corporate Account Manager handling start-ups, medium-size businesses and major accounts mainly on the west coast. After CDW, Robb worked briefly in business development for a small east coast based datacenter maintenance and network security services firm.

Robb holds a dual B.S. in accountancy and finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Ten Chu
Co-founder, Chief Technical Officer

Ten was one of the early employees and the technology manager at ChicagoTribune.com and Metromix.com. His previous experience includes software development and UNIX system administration. Ten attended University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.

Ten holds a M.S. in Marine Geology from the National Taiwan University.
