Another creative writing for a meter on Hubbard Street near Wabash. It reads “DIGITAL READOUT DOESNT SHOW TIME OR SHOW PAID AMOUNT PUT $200 IN METER!”.
Out of order
Another meter failed on Hubbard Street near Rush. This one has an error message of its own. It looks like a piece of paper and a coin got stuck in the slot. Notice the no parking sign at the upper right hand corner. It does not seem the city is enforcing that. I think this driver still got a free parking out of this.
Broken meters
Saw those two meters on Hubbard Street near lower Michigan, on my way to work this morning. It seems that you get free parking if the meter is not functioning.
